A year in the life of an American Eisenhower Fellow...
Welcome to my blog, dedicated to my year as an Eisenhower Fellow. I was honored to be selected as a 2013 Eisenhower Fellow - one of nine from the United States. Each of us will be launching an adventure to study other parts of the world with the goal of finding outcomes that can benefit our home country and community. I'm looking forward to my travels to Singapore, Vietnam and Brazil, to study how these economies have attracted such substantial foreign direct investment in the last few years, and to see if there are any learnings from which the United States and local communities can benefit. In preparing for my fellowship, I thought that a blog detailing the experiences of the year might be of interest to my friends, family and other fellows.
